This trilogy of films, presented by Illinois Holocaust Museum and created by East City Films, tell stories of survival and loss. Each virtual reality documentary envelopes the audience in the journeys of these survivors. They approached me to create posters to capture a moment from each of the films, pinpointing their unique atmospheres whilst keeping a thread between the images.
Featuring a combination of photomontage, textural application, and hand-painting, these posters range from wistful to foreboding, representing the spectrum of emotions in the films.
